Five environmental education specialists from Georgia, Javakhethi region region schools and NGOs visit Estonia, during 18-22 September.

Peipsi CTC introduces to our Georgian colleagues our  environmental education program and services we offer; field visits takes place to Mustvee Gymnasium, Tartu Environmental Education Centre, Nõva Nature Centre, Lake Peipsi Exhibition. 

The participants of the field trip discuss also what kind of non- formal environmental education methods, as well as outdoor nature learning practices could be practiced also in Javakhethi.


The aim of the project is to promote biodiversity, development of non-formal environmental education in Georgian schools in Javakheti region.  


The study visit takes place as part of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs funded project "Promoting development of environmental NGOs and their environmental education activities  in Javakheti region".
