European Union and Bridge 47 have co-financed the Action, co-financing by Tartu City Government .
The aim of the project is to develop an innovative and interactive workshop a programme about oil shale mining in Estonia and its impact on the environment
on the global level.
Activities
Peipsi CTC will create a short introducing
video clip that
sums up local actions with global impacts. In the cooperation with environmental
specialist and local NGO from Ida-Viru County that fights with mining impact
issues Peipsi CTC will develop an
interactive workshop program for school children. Peipsi CTC will test and implement a workshop in one of the
schools in South Estonia to get the feedback on how much pupils from another
part of Estonia know about the problems in Ida-Viru county and its global
environmental impact. The project enables to Peipsi CTC to develop energy consumption
workshop program for future activities that introduce the UN GOAL nr 7 with illustrative
materials both from the local and global level.
