Green Deal workshops

INEQUALITIES MATTER project aims at making Environmental citizenship more inclusive by giving voice to those vulnerable citizens that are normally excluded from the public debate. During November -December partners from Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal, Cyprus, Estonia and Germany organised each a worksop for their target groups on  on Green deal topics, 

Project partners from Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal, Cyprus, Estonia and Germany organised each a worksop on Green deal topics,, targeting ; elderly, young people with social fragilities in educational programmes, people with migrant or minority background – the ones with whom partner organisations usually work. In each workshops participants get knowledge on guidelines for the Environmental citizenship and on the climate change/ green deal related issues.
In all workshops it was discussed what each individual can do to protect the environment and ecosystems. Most of the participants agreed that each of us should try to engage daily with small actions to adopt a more sustainable living approach like try to use a sustainable means of transportation, try to reuse and recycle as much as possible - especially clothes, do the separate waste collection, etc.

 INEQUALITIES MATTER project aims at making Environmental citizenship more inclusive by giving voice to those vulnerable citizens that are normally excluded from the public debate and not taken into consideration when deciding on the actions to protect our planet and climate.

Inequalities Matter project is funded by  EU CERV Program and aims to make environmental citizenship more inclusive for those categories that are usually marginalized in the discourse on climate change, and often overlooked when making decisions to protect the environment and the planet.
The project is led by ALD A nd inclused 7 partners from 7 countries.
