Living Lakes Network

LIVING LAKES is the partnership promoting voluntary international collaboration among organizations that carry out projects benefiting lakes, wildlife, and people.

Lake Peipsi/Lake Võrtsjärv was accepted as an official double member of the international partnership Living Lakes in 2003.

The Living Lakes network is coordinated by the Global Nature Fund, which aims to protect lakes, wetlands, and freshwater reservoirs on a worldwide basis. The partnership currently consists of 42 organizations representing 30 lakes and wetlands on four continents.
