Today we have final conference of our ESTDEV Development cooperation project “Empowerment and improved knowledge and skills of Nagorno-Karabakh refugees to start agricultural entrepreneurship“ in Yerevan
The project is implemented in cooperation with Organic Armenia association and it aims to empower professional skills of internally displaced persons from Artsakh, so that they acquire (or improve) practical skills and knowledge to work in agriculture and start their own business. The training groups were divided between 3 topics: beekeeping, poultry farming/egg production; cultivation of berries/herbs, and we trained more than 100 people.
In the end of the training program participants could apply for micro-subsidies and we issued in total 53 inputs: beehives, chicken and seedlings.
