Project partners from Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal, Cyprus, Estonia and Germany organised each a worksop on Green deal topics,, targeting ; elderly, young people with social fragilities in educational programmes, people with migrant or minority background – the ones with whom partner organisations usually work. In each workshops participants get knowledge on guidelines for the Environmental citizenship and on the climate change/ green deal related issues.
In all workshops it was discussed what each individual can do to protect the environment and ecosystems. Most of the participants agreed that each of us should try to engage daily with small actions to adopt a more sustainable living approach like try to use a sustainable means of transportation, try to reuse and recycle as much as possible - especially clothes, do the separate waste collection, etc.
INEQUALITIES MATTER project aims at making Environmental citizenship more inclusive by giving voice to those vulnerable citizens that are normally excluded from the public debate and not taken into consideration when deciding on the actions to protect our planet and climate.
The project is led by ALD A nd inclused 7 partners from 7 countries.
