Peipsi CTC starts a CBSS project on Sustaining communities and ecosystems of the Baltic Sea Region.
The Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) has selected eight projects for funding under the 2025 Project Support Facility (PSF), among others is Peipsi CTC lead project" Sustaining communities and ecosystems of the Baltic Sea Region"
Our project is focusing on climate change mitigation, cultural heritage preservation and biodiversity protection in coastal communities, both maritime and large lake regions – in Poland, Estonia, Norway, Finland, but also Ukraine.
Through our local actions we empower of local communities and civil society -through community labs, study tours and pilot actions; contributing to the wider goal of resilient societies. The importamt component of the project is cross-border cooperation and peer learning between Baltic Sea and Black Sea Region communities - to transfer community-driven solutions and models.
