An exhibition giving a detailed overview of the nature and life at Lake Peipsi.
It introduces the 34 species of fish living in the lake with corresponding models.
A 3-dimensional lake model (size 4m x 1,4m) shows all the details of the lake with its surrounding settlements, accommodation places, museums, viewing platforms and much more.
All the mentioned models of fish and the lake are presented with explanatory texts in Estonian, Russian and English. More information is provided about the food chain, development of fish and other natural aspects - from leeches up to blue-green algae. More than ten hands-on exhibits are waiting for usage – e.g. Peipsi puzle, trying on fisherman’s suite.

We'd suggest to visit the Peipsimaa Museum next door - see  http://peipsimaamuuseum.ee/en/
